About
Blossoming from the red dirt of Oklahoma, Ahna Jennings is a singer/songwriter whose musical style features the best of alt-country, Americana, and traditional folk. Over the past several years, Jennings' crystalline voice has filled smokey bars and venues around Texas and Oklahoma; honing her skills and command of the stage. In 2021 Ahna won the Red Dirt Relief Funds' Jimmy LaFave Songwriting Contest along with People's Choice with her song "Hope & Gasoline", a song about the highs and lows of being on the road.
Jennings' looks to the past for inspiration but writes with a modern take on the world. She credits her artistry to songwriters like Emmylou Harris, Bob Dylan, and Joni Mitchell - just to name a few. Ahna hopes to get in the studio soon to record her much anticipated EP.
